Reimagining Our AI PM Journey: A More Focused Path Forward

I’m thrilled to share some exciting updates to our “AI Product Management – Learn with Me Series.” A new structure that is all about outcomes, clarity, and empowerment.

Two months ago, I started collecting questions for our "AI Product Management - Learn with Me Series." What began as a comprehensive list of 70+ questions has evolved into something I'm really excited to share with you today.

Why the Change?

I took a step back and reimagined our journey together and deepen our community's needs.

Let’s be real: I’m not an AI expert. I’m just a curious product manager navigating this rapidly evolving landscape alongside you.

As we've grown to 110+ curious PMs, I've noticed that most of us are at the beginning of this journey. We don't need information overload—we need a clear, outcome-focused path.

The truth is, this revised structure isn't just for you—it's my actual learning map. This new structure is all about outcomes, clarity, and empowerment for everyone of us.

This is how I'm navigating my own AI PM journey, spending just 10-30 minutes daily to stay ahead of the curve.

The New Learning Path

Here's how we'll structure our learning journey moving forward:

1. My Perspectives on the Evolving AI Landscape

I'm sharing my honest takes on why AI matters for PMs, how our roles are changing, and whether the trillion-dollar promise is hype or reality. (Several posts already live)

2. AI PM 101 - Understanding the Basic Definitions

Clear, jargon-free explanations of the fundamental concepts you need to speak confidently about AI. (Several posts already live)

Coming soon: Concepts like vector databases, neural networks, embeddings, and prompt engineering matter for us in product management.

3. AI for Personal Productivity

Before building AI products, let's use these tools ourselves. I'm documenting what actually works in my daily workflow.

4. Technical Foundations of Generative AI & Agentic Workflows

This section is where we bridge the gap between theory and practice.

We’re covering everything from building a data moat for your AI product to nailing down the basics of data ingestion, labeling, compute infrastructure, and orchestration. Then, we move on to foundation models, model supervision, and the nuts and bolts of AI tech stack. Already, we’ve touched on Graph RAG.

Coming soon: I’ll explore scaling issues, distributed computing, model versioning—basically, all the technical challenges you need to know to confidently lead AI projects. And since multi-agent systems are the future, expect a deep dive into agent workflows, orchestration, and practical guides for building these systems.

5. Product Strategy & User Experiences in an AI-powered World

Real frameworks for building products that matter—from the 10× PRD Framework to AI economics. (Several posts already live)

Opening My Learning Sandbox

What makes this newsletter different is that I'm learning alongside you. I'm not an AI expert with all the answers—I'm a curious PM on a learning journey.

You'll notice two types of posts in this new structure:

• Educational content that breaks down complex concepts

• Perspective pieces where I share my honest thoughts on where AI product management is heading

Both are essential pieces of the puzzle. along with many expert resources available online.

That's why I'm also opening up my personal learning sandbox and sharing the exact resources that have helped me the most.
